The newsletter opens with a note from the president of G.A.I.N. who mentions a private members bill introduced in the House of Commons to add sexual orientation to the list of prohibited categories of discrimination in the Federal Human Rights Act. Unfortunately, it did not pass into law. The Vice President mentions starting up a library for G.A.I.N. for gays and lesbians that contains informative articles and books, pamphlets, novels, newsletters, etc. The G.A.I.N. Social Committee discusses the different social events that the organization holds such as softball and bowling events, and a dance. They also mention the upcoming Pride Week in June.
