Title

"Being Gay: Six Hours of Ideas on CBC-FM"

Description

An advertisement for 6 CBC radio shows on various queer topics, to be broadcasted around Canada. Topics included identity, a story of a polyamorous relationship, and gay consciousness.

CBC running a radio show explicitly about queer topics, and running an advertisement in The Body Politic, is especially notable as they had a running policy throughout the 1970s to refuse the airing of "gay" public service announcements, on the basis that public service announcements could not be regarding a controversial subject. See this linked article from the Muse, Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador's student newspaper, for more details on this controversy.
