The Gay Association in Newfoundland (GAIN) was an organization working socially and politically for the interests of gay, lesbian, and bisexual in Newfoundland active from 1982-83 until 1988. They were self supported through various fundraisers and donations, and distributed a monthly newsletter to members. They are especially notable for their early coverage of and work towards addressing the AIDS epidemic in NL.
